Lakeland Baptist Church's sole purpose is to develop fully devoted followers of Christ. We accomplish this by being led by the Holy Spirit, governed by the Word of God, and being serious about empowering Christians to reach those that do not know Christ with the unfailing love of GOD.
To further increase our understanding and love for God's Word, we have partnered with Grace Center for Spiritual Development (GCSD) to provide accessible quality theological education to everyone at Lakeland Missionary Baptist Church. GCSD is an extension of Grace School of Theology whose vision is to develop spiritual leaders in every nation who can teach others about the love of Christ, a love that cannot be earned and cannot be lost.

I am excited about our next chapter of Disciple-making. As we move to our “new normal,” it is an understatement to say that things have changed. Because of COVID, the Church is engaged in digital ministry, which means we are no longer limited by time or space – what an opportunity. I recently heard someone say that the church is trying to do Mail order Ministry in an Amazon.com age.
I am excited that God has positioned Lakeland to partner with GCSD to offer you new opportunities to grow spiritually. You can engage in these classes individually or in small groups. There are some classes that I am requiring to hold leadership positions at Lakeland. Current leaders will take these required courses as well. Relax, these are not graduate-level courses; they are self-paced courses you can engage in according to your schedule.
